READ Transcending Illness
Thriving in the Midst of Medical Adversity

Like the more than 133 million Americans facing medical adversity, I too, am on a seemingly insurmountable journey, not of my own choosing. In the midst of overwhelming calamity, what tools can empower us to get on with the business of living and thriving?
Attitude is everything. No matter how grave the current situation initially seems, the capacity lies within each of us to get back to the business of living. Even as pain, stress, and emotional turmoil seem to shred us into pieces too small to collect and re-assemble, we can temper and even overcome the anguish. Pain does not equal suffering.
In the medical system, we as patients can too often feel robbed of our power and pillaged of our self-esteem. Left decimated, like a post-cyclone disaster area, we may not know where to begin the cleanup efforts. TRANSCENDING ILLNESS highlights tools to restore some lost control and power.
These practical tools, are rapidly applicable, empowering us to meet our numerous medical challenges. I invite you to join me in transforming illness into a state of wholeness and inner wellness.
The tools of wellbeing are here for each, no matter the seriousness of our predicament.
We are not alone and wellbeing is available anytime.
